Grandma had big plans in store for Tuesday. We packed up a lunch and headed down to the MAX station! The kids didn't know where we were headed, but I'm pretty sure just riding the train would have been enough excitement for my boys! It took us forever to figure out the tickets because for some reason it wasn't reading the debit card, so finally after all three of us gave it a go it took! Thank goodness too because we would have had some pretty bummed out kiddos!! Grandma had us get off at a stop that drops you right at the door of a specialty toy store in downtown Portland called Finnigans!
Here she is giving instruction on what they could and couldn't pick out! The goal was for them to find something that would help occupy their time on our upcoming 14 hour drive to Utah!
Although their faces don't show their excitement in this picture, they were very happy about all making their purchase and getting their own Finnigan's bag with whatever they picked out! Thanks again Grandma for another fun adventure!
