Tanner and Bella

We had so much fun seeing some of Doug's extended family last weekend. His Uncle Sam, Cousin Ben, and other Cousin Luke all came down to do a tri-stake fireside down here. It was a great weekend and a great fireside. Tanner and Bella (Doug's cousins little girl) had so much fun playing together. I don't know why I didn't pull my camera out more, but these are from when we went to dinner. The two of them were being so cute...of course my pictures don't do any justice...they never do, but these are the few that I did capture. I did have some others of Jake wearing Olea's cute hat and looking like a pretty little girl, but they turned out blurry...we definitly needed Kristina's expertise when it came to the photography!!:)

Chuck E Cheese...Tanner was getting frustrated with the skee ball because his balls wouldn't roll all the way up to the holes, so he decided he would just grab the balls and walk up and put them in the holes! That got him some points and some tickets!

We did so many fun things while we were in Oregon with Grandma and Grandpa! Chuck E Cheese is always a must, OMSI-the childrens Science Museum which is awesome anc kids could stay there for like 5 hours, explored the outdoors, and just hanging around Grandma and Grandpas house which is always the best! These are just more random pictures of our trip. Today Tanner told me that he was going to pack his suitcase and go on a trip but not with Mommy, just Tanner. And then he told me that he was going to fly on an airplane by himself to Grandmas and that I needed to stay here with Jakey. He couldn't stop talking about it....I guess he had fun!!!:)

Valentines Day a.k.a Heart Day

Valentines Day this year at Grandma and Grandpas was filled with all sorts of HEARTS!! Grandma made pink heart pancakes in the morning, and then came home with fun heart shaped Krispy Kremes. They had heart shaped peanut butter and jelly for lunch, made heart shaped sugar cookies, made heart shaped valentines for crafts and even had heart shaped pizza for dinner! Tanner ended up calling it "Heart Day" which was fine by me!:) At this point of our trip Nash and Jake were pretty sick and missed out on all the good treats! They were miserable and are just barely getting over the bug that they had....that is another excuse for my lack of updating! It was a fun day had by all!!

While we were in Oregon my mom rented out a place called Airtrix for the family where they have every kind of those blow up things ! We have not had that much fun in a long time! My mom always has a way of planning things that create the best memories! You are the best mom! Thanks again! We played hard for like three hours and I have never laughed so hard....we were crying we were laughing so hard. It was a blast to say the least and of course the kids were in heaven as well as the adults!

Jonathan and Melinda's Wedding

Okay, so I have been totally out of the blogging world lately but hopefully I will be able to redeem myself by posting my excuses!! First and foremost we went to Oregon for my brother Jonathans wedding! It was such a good day and they were so cute and so happy! Doug had to fly to Utah straight from Oregon for the following week, so I just stayed in Oregon for a longer visit with family!

Melis and I started babysitting these girls when they were newborns and I can't believe that they are in their tweens/teens now!! Ahhhh...life is going way too fast! But they are beautiful girls and we always love to catch up with them!

Last weekend Melis and I decided to go Boutique shopping in downtown Mesa where they were have the cutest boutiques and shops! It was such a nice day so we got cookies and played on the statues along the sidewalks. This of course became the favorite and the boys loved sitting it! It was a nice relaxing Saturday afternoon to say the least.
