It's always something!

Doug has a new found love for amazon. I guess it's not new found... It's been about a year. He has a new found love for amazon prime though! Which if you don't know what that is, it just gets you your purchases to you in two days instead of the other. Anyways, one day these things show up at our door...I mean stilts? Really? Yes, really...stilts! He has the running and walking around thing down pretty good...even the walking downstairs thing too! You just never know what you are going to get when you walk in our front door!! And that's one of the reasons I love him so much!! Crazy kid!

10 months!!!

This little buttercup is 10 months old!! She finally started to crawl around 9 1/2 months. She has just been in no rush to get anywhere. She didn't sit up all by herself until she was 7 1/2 months. But she went from sitting up to a pretty decent army crawl which got her mostly anywhere she wanted. She finally figured out a steady crawl and she is exploring and cruising around everywhere now. She does pull herself up on a lot of things, and she will crawl to my feet when she wants me to pick her up. She is just the sweetest thing. Such a good temperament, and the absolute best sleeper!! She is ready for he'd at around 6:15pm. We get her in her Jammie's and give her a bottle and by 6:30 she is in her bed! She gets so excited for her binky and her blanket! She will only really take her binky in bed or if shes really tired and in her carseat. But other than that she seems to be pretty finicky about it. So when the time comes to get rid of it I don't think it will be a big deal. I'm the one that kept pushing her to take it and she finally started to. She loved it for a while and would suck it all the time, but has gradually made it just a bed thing. She wont let you rock her too much and shes not a huge snuggler. She rarely lays her head on your shoulder, so to make up for it Doug goes and holds her for a couple minutes every single night before he gets in bed. He wants her to snuggle so bad! Haha! She normally doesn't wake up until 6:30 or 7 and is ready for a bottle!
She loves toast, chicken nuggets, crackers, veggie straws, and will try most everything, but there is no guarantee that it won't end up thrown on the floor.:) she loves to give courtesy laughs all day long as well as laugh at her brothers who can get her rolling pretty good! She thinks they are the best thing ever! And she is pretty darn cute when it comes to giving open mouth kisses! Shes got that down pat! We sure love our camryn girl!!

Big girl!!

And i don't mean the potty or a big girl bed!! We have done some rearranging since Kyle and melis have moved into their new house. Camryn has moved out of our closet and into a crib...first crib I have ever had...and my dear friend Julianne have it to me. All my babies have slept in pack n plays until they were climbing out and ready to move into a bed. They also have all slept in a closet...one of the best bedrooms ever made. Quiet, dark, and they sleep so great. Which is what cams had betn doing. She went from the bassinet right next to my bed....to the pack n play right next to my bed...to the pack n play in our closet... And now to her own room. We have the space and it just makes sense. It was weird at first not having her right here, but she does great in her crib. I keep it pretty dark which is currently being done with masking tape and a dark sleeping bag...and she still has the noisemaker,. Ive been waiting for her black out curtains I had ordered from pottery barn. They finally arrived but now I'm waiting on the curtain rod. So the sleeping bag works for now! Her room is only one of the many projects taking place in the house right now! It's always something!!

This kid...

Tanner is sure saying the funniest things lately. The other night I came into the boys room to get them all tucked in and tanner looks at me and says, "mom...i have a terrible secret and you're not going to like it!" I stop picking up their room... Which they are horrible at keeping clean... And I say "well what is it!!!" and he says, " oh no mom! I can't tell you!" and jake chimes in to say "mom...he told me he kissed Megan!"
I say "you kissed Megan?" this is the girl that apparently likes three boys in their class. According to tanner she likes him the best. I actually met her the other day when I stopped in the school to go through the list and found looking for the three jackets and two water bottles that have been missing. She is darling. But that's besides the point...he's only 7 and they run up to each other and give each other a big hug! Ha! Anyways, that night I proceed to convince tanner to tell me if that is
His terrible secret and he says no... He was just tricking me. Yeah right...I know better than that and I can see it in his sheepish smile. But he won't give in. We do all our reading and say our prayers and i get them all tucked in. On my way out of the rotank say, " tanner you don't need to worry about girls right now!!" and he says, " mom I know I can't date until I'm 16 but I have to have someone to date when that happens!!" haha! Is he for real! " I say..."that is a long time from now. I love you...get some sleep." then I haul it upstairs to listen to jake and him talk on the monitor. We finally got them

In her own room. It's worked out great, but I have the monitor so that I can hear if someone needs me. And so I can listen to all their terrible secrets;).

This morning when I dropped him off at school and he was getting out of the car he turns around and says "ah man mom!! Jake just kicked me in the disco!" and I said, "the disco?" and he points to his you know what and just gives me the eye! Haha!! I have honestly never heard that one before!

Love him....growing up right before my eyes... And always keeping me on my toes!!
