I don't know if Tanner just remembered loving Halloween last year or not, but this might easily be one of his favorite holidays! He loves loves loves Scary stuff.....and he didn't get that character trait from me! But he loved going to those SPIRIT Halloween Stores and couldn't wait to pick out our pumpkins and carve them. I thought I loved holidays before, but they get even more fun when your children get so excited about every little detail!

Melissa and Baby Jaycee's Baby Shower!

Last weekend we had Melissa's baby shower! It was so fun! She should be all set for little Jaycee to arrive anyday now! We can't wait to meet and see her!!

Just needed a Drink!

Tonight Tanner yelled, "Mom, I need a drink of milk!"

I responded, "Just a minute, I will get you one in a second." ( I don't remember what I was doing)

So, a minute later I went to the kitchen and this is what I found.

Tanner explained, "Mom....it's okay, I am just finishing the chocolate milk."

I don't know where he has seen this but it hasn't been from me.....I think I may need to talk to his father on this one!:)

Jake Is 18 months!

Jake has grown up so much in the last couple of months! He wants to do everything just like his big brother and gets very upset if don't let him....or at least let him attempt to do it just like Tanner. He loves to be outside no matter what you are doing! I thought this picture was pretty funny because he was jumping on Chip and Erin's trampoline and his hair was sticking straight up in the air. He also is very determined when it comes to feeding himself. It takes a lot to get him to even eat in a high chair anymore, which I wouldn't mind except that he is the messiest eater on the planet! I swear he can turn a whole apple into a huge mess! I don't know how he does it....but he does. I love how he holds his left hand when he is trying so hard to focus on making sure the food gets to his mouth. Sweet boy!

He started nursery on Sunday and let's just say it didn't go as well as I would have liked. In Virginia I would take him in with Tanner and he did fine, but in our new ward we have 5 nurseries and so they are in different classes. I think it will just take a little getting used to for him and getting him more comfortable with his teachers and the other kids. Wish me luck....I have approximately 8 weeks to make this happen!

Back in AZ!

We are finally back in Arizona and all...well, mostly situated in our home. We love being closer to some family and Tanner and Jake are love being around their cousins. Papa is down here continuing to work hard on Uncle Doug's library. The library addition is absolutely amazing and beautiful! He is so talented and works so hard. We love being able to spend time with him and Tanner loves to constantly drink his QT concoction(sp?)....Jake doesn't like it as much.....that's probably a good thing!

Tanner also started preschool once we got all moved in. He has been talking about going to school ever since Taytum told him she rode the bus and got to go to school over a year ago. But he does not forget anything and constantly would talk about it. And if anyone asks him if he went to school he says "No no no! I didn't go to school, just preschool!" Like it is so overrated or something. He loves it and it is just what he needs to keep him busy! I am happy to say that that is all it took to get him potty trained too! The day after his 3rd birthday I told him that he couldn't go to school unless he only went on the potty and he never turned back! It was actually a lot easier than forcing the whole thing.....and I love having only one child in diapers. Although, that will only last a little while longer, but I am going to take full advantage of it! So a lot of milestones are happening around the Cardon household!
