We sure did try and cram it all in for Easter this year. We started off with dying Easter eggs earlier in the week. Doug was all business this year and had to be in complete control of this one.!:) He wouldn't let me touch anything...it was pretty funny. The funniest part was...is that the boys finished their five eggs they could dye in approximately 3 minutes. Good times! They loved it and since we had all these hard boiled eggs we discovered that they LOVE to eat them! Tanner and Jake had 3 whole ones each after they ate lunch one day. I had to put a stop to it after that or they may have had other issues later on in the evening. Mikey just likes to crack and peel them and then crush them really. Its all about the texture I guess!
The Saturday morning before Easter we had our official cousin Easter Egg hunt! It was at our house this year....since we have a house this year! :) The kiddos were soooo excited, well, most of them. Parker and Carter are really getting old enough to be "over" the whole idea of an Easter egg hunt unless there is something really worth hunting. So they got to help Doug hide all the Easter eggs. Doug and I started an official golden egg which Doug found and they spent their entire time hunting for that egg!
Here they are ready to rock and roll!
Price holding back the troops!!
Erin?....Were you finding eggs for all your children while you were limping from that dreadful scorpion sting you received that morning?:) Looks like it!
And just when we thought no one could find the golden egg....
Parker did!!! It was a five dollar bill this year....but we all know how Doug likes to do it....so be prepared for the golden egg next year!!
And here we are sorting the Loot!!
We had lunch and then the kids got to decorate their Easter cookies!
Did you want some cookie with that frosting??
Sweet Lyla....who never makes a peep!
Unless you put her down that is!:)
But not on this particular day. She was enjoying the festivities just like everyone else!
The boys woke up to baskets left by the Easter Bunny!
HAPPY EASTER!!
